Coca-Cola Plans to Cut Around 2,000 Jobs Across the Globe
More and more consumers have been adjusting their eating habits and losing their appetites for sugary drinks, forcing giant names in the industry such as PepsiCo to make crucial business adjustments to adapt to this decline in sales.
Coca-Cola recently announced that it plans to cut 1,600-1,800 jobs globally as part of its $3 billion cost reduction plan.
Coca-Cola’s revenues were estimated to have dropped nearly 6 percent in 2014, but instead of addressing this decline by cutting prices, the soda giant will cut jobs and revamp the old packages, giving consumers smaller drinks at the same prices.
Could this year be 2014 all over again?
