How to Get Into Silicon Valley’s ‘Startup Castle’
- Startups in Silicon Valley
- Live-work-play spaces are common in Silicon Valley
- The house mates believe that the rules are not discriminatory
To cut it short
If you are living a regular life and watch more than four hours of TV every week, then the ‘Startup Castle’ will not accept you as a resident. The 17,000-square foot mansion is located a few miles away from Stanford’s campus and currently has 5 vacancies, with shared setups costing a $1000 while private ones starting at $1,750.
But not anyone who can afford it can move in. The current house members have made an exhaustive list of requirements needed for accepting a potential house member. Anyone not fulfilling them will simply be denied access.
