To cut it short
Celebrations have always received a warm welcome from the human race. Labour Day is one such special occasion that celebrates the grandeur of working class. While Canada and U.S. indulge in making merry with song, dance and delectable BBQ, the European nations mark the global holiday with speeches and parade by government influencers.
In the Gulf, some nations that observe it as a public holiday organize symbolic marches, while the ones that don’t oversee a holiday, function as a normal working day. In Asia, especially Malaysia, people are observed rejoicing by taking a day-off to visit family, travel or shop at malls. However, for Indians and Pakistanis it’s just another day to indulge in sweet home treats! Whatever the celebration, the International Labour Day is a reflection of the strength of the working community coming together to celebrate unanimously!
