Here’s Everything That’s Wrong With Going to Class
- Academic institutions
- Alternative learning platforms
- A highscool dropout will earn $200,000 less than a highschool graduate in western countries, and around $10,000 in Arab countries
- The number of companies using MOOCs in corporate training is set to grow rapidly in two years
To cut it short
Call me a buzzkill, but I’ve always believed that going to class is much like doing jail time.
For starters, classes are torture chambers. You stay there for hours like a caged animal; forced to learn about things you may not be interested in and listen to lecturers that don’t spark anything within you or inspire you. The early mornings, the time it takes you to get ready, the boring drive; all contribute to the fact that your time is not yours.
Ever heard of online learning platforms? You get to choose your courses and your teachers and learn online; because it’s not about not wanting to learn, it’s about the desire to learn new things by experienced people in the field!
