iOS 8 Vs Lollipop
iOS 8 has built on new design of iOS 7 with added consistency and refined iconography. It also has got some design twists with respect to widget, keyboard interface, notification and multitasking.
iOS 8 also makes improved use of gestures for navigation, for example, a swipe to go back from the left edge and clicking of the home button twice for Reach-ability which slides entire screen down.
On the other hand Android lollipop is the greatest redesign in android history. The redesign is very determined in instructional and visual design. The intention of the redesign is not only presenting a high consistent experience, but to improve the user understanding of what is happening.
