To cut it short
While chat rooms were very popular in the 90s, what’s really kicking in today is instant messaging. Apps like Messenger and WhatsApp is a true testament to the above. Featuring a clean, light blue interface, Facebook’s Messenger facilitates peer-to-peer payments, speedy texting, sharing of stickers and voice clips. However, it doesn’t allow you to log out within the app itself. On the other hand, WhatsApp is the most well run messaging service that allows you to send free instant messages, share your location, voice clips and make calls. However, just like its peer, it doesn’t let you log out too. While WhatsApp is meant to replace the text messaging, Messenger aims at connecting Facebook friends!
