To cut it short
Having spent the past 15+ years living and breathing digital advertising, Internet technology guru Sharif El-Badawi shared his experiences with over 30 entrepreneurs in a session organized by Oasis 500. He talked about the evolution of digital ads throughout the years, gave a brief background about Tech Wadi, a non-profit organization that connects Silicon Valley with MENA startups, and mentioned how it’s thirsty for Arab female mentors, such as Salwa Katkhuda.
Sharif ended the first day with a casual dinner with the Oasis 500 team as well as startup founders Ziad Barouni from SnackableNews, Zaid Irshaid from Gaugez, Hiba Mansour from Sajilni, Hussam Hammo from Tamatem.
A few entrepreneurs had the opportunity to sit down with Sharif for short one-on-one meetings to ask questions and get expert advice about their startups and current advertising strategies.
