Social Positivity: Jordanian Initiative Badir Witnesses Remarkable Success
- Youth Entrepreneurship
- Residents of Jordan between 18-30 years of age involved with an existing social change project can apply to be fellow members of Badir
- The second phase of Badir will recruit around 20 new fellows providing them an opportunity to apply for $ 6,000 in funding for their projects
To cut it short
Launched by the International Youth Foundation (IYF) and Starbucks, Badir provides fellow members with training, funding and networking opportunities. While the first phase awarded additional funding to Lina Khalifeh and Siraj Haddadin, who initiated a women’s self-defence studio and a Human Resource initiative, the second phase will oversee new members and will also strengthen existing projects of the first phase.
