Sony Lost So Much Weight!
Despite all the terror and threats, Sony released “The Interview” in around 300 theatres across America on Christmas day. The movie had a $44 million budget and another $30 million for promotion, but only grossed $1 million at the box office on release day.
The movie was initially expected to bring in around $300 million, but with all the attacks that it received, Sony wasn’t expecting a blockbuster per se. In fact, experts say that the attack is “possibly the costliest ever for a U.S. company!”
At a time like this, you can’t help but wonder: was “The Interview” worth all the hype?
