A new study claims that between 2020 and 2030 solar cycles will cancel each other out
Last Maunder minimum happened in between 1646 and 1715, and caused London’s River Thames to freeze over
To cut it short
According to a new study, planet Earth could be headed towards a mini ice age.
Solar cycles will cancel each other out in between 2020 and 2030 and lead to Maunder minimum; a phenomenon in which the sunspots become increasingly rare to spot.
The last known Maunder minimum was in between 1646 and 1715, and caused a massive plummet in temperatures eventually leading to the freezing of River Thames.
