To cut it short
W Motors has come out with the first Arab supercar, which also happens to be the first car that it ever manufactures. Not too bad for a start! The Lykan Hypersport clocks a top speed of 395 km/h while the 780 bhp engine takes it from 0-60 miles in just 2.8 seconds.
The chrome beauty’s seats are stitched with gold threads while the headlights are trimmed with diamonds.
Ralph R. Debbas, CEO of W Motors, started the company 7 years ago when he was just 22. After achieving success with the Lykan Hypersport, which even featured in the Fast and Furious movie and used by Dubai’s police, he is set upon opening a factory in Dubai in a year’s time.
Two new cars: $1.6 million Supersport and a $250,000 SUV will be manufactured in this factory as Ralph sets on a mission to boost the auto industry in the Arab region.
