The Hideous Truth behind Office Cleanliness
- Office hygiene
It’s another weekday morning. You just got to the office, you’re still not quite awake yet, and you know that your only hope for pulling through the day is gulping down a caffeine-infused drink (with a cookie or a piece of cake, you know, if you’re feeling a little adventurous). So you make your regular cup of joe and march back to your desk ready to face another day.
Ready for the dreadful truth?
That desk contains 400 times more germs than, wait for it, a toilet seat! Outrageous isn’t it? While we’re on it, you may also want to know that a usual work environment is home to thousands of germs. They’re literally everywhere! Refrigerators, door handles, telephones, keyboards; the list can go on forever. But before you get all judgy, think about the last time you cleaned (disinfected might be more suitable here) your desk, or the last time you cleaned your hands after opening the fridge. Chances are, you don’t even remember!
