- Labour Law

To cut it short
UAE’s Ministry of Labour has been applying stringent policies to avoid labor violations. In a recent inspection, a number of firms were issued warnings while a few were subject to legal action. Failure to pay workers’ salary, illegitimate contracts and labour card infringements were the most common violations. Heavy fines have been forced upon the companies breaking laws to ensure that such illicit practices are not carried out in the future.
