To cut it short
You’ve all probably seen a video of Real Madrid’s superstar Cristiano Ronaldo surface all over the Internet these past 24 hours. But just in case you haven’t (erm, where have you been?), I’ll fill you in on the details.
With a fatsuit, a beard, a wig and some oversized sun glasses, Ronaldo went undercover in the streets of Madrid for a little less than an hour as a homeless man with nothing but a soccer ball and a scruffy dog. He showcased some insane tricks and challenged some passerbyes. People ignored him, rejected him, and had no clue who he was, until of course, he revealed his disguise and everything went crazy.
You’d think that he did this to show the struggles of homeless people, but no.
IT’S ALL PART OF AN AD!
The video was uploaded on Cristiano’s Facebook page to promote his new line of ROC headphones. The video received over 32 million views in 24 hours and has been shared numerous times, so we’re guessing the campaign is not doing bad!
